1-30-19 Pedestrian Struck/Fatality - 5500 Highway 58
On Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at 7:36 p.m. Chattanooga Police Traffic Division responded to a fatal traffic crash involving a pedestrian struck that occurred at 5500 Highway 58. The following information was obtained through observation, interview, and investigation.
1-29-19 SAFE Campaign 2019
The Chattanooga Police Department is partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) for its annual Seatbelts Are For Everyone (SAFE) campaign. This statewide initiative is designed to increase seatbelt usage and child passenger safety restraint usage through the implementation of occupant-protection programs, public events, and checkpoints throughout local communities across Tennessee. The SAFE campaign begins February 1, 2019 and concludes August 1, 2019.
1-26-19 Shooting - 1400 S. Holly St.
On 1/26/19 at approximately 9:10 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to Parkridge Hospital located at 2333 McCallie Avenue on a report of a gunshot victim.
2-4-19 UPDATE #2/1-31-19 UPDATE: Arrest/1-29-19 Shooting - 700 block West Main Street Court
UPDATE 2 (2/4/19): Chattanooga Police were notified that Bernice Williams, one of the victims from the shooting that occurred on 1/29/2019 in the 700 block of West Main Street Court, has succumbed to her injuries.

On 1/26/19 at approximately 10:39 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to 2500 S. Orchard Knob Avenue on reports of shots fired.
