8-16-19 UPDATE - Fourth Suspect Arrested/8-2-19 MULTIPLE ARRESTS/Homicide - 4600 block Trailwood Drive
On Friday, August 16, 2019, a fourth suspect was arrested on outstanding warrants in relation to the July 21, 2019 shooting which occurred in the 4600 block of Trailwood Drive. The victim from that shooting, Tracy Calloway succumbed to injuries sustained from that shooting on July 22, 2019.
8-2-19 MULTIPLE ARRESTS/Homicide - 4600 block Trailwood Drive
On Friday, August 2, 2019, the Chattanooga Police Department arrested three suspects on murder charges related to the July 21, 2019 shooting in the 4600 block of Trailwood Drive. Tracy Calloway succumbed to injuries sustained in that shooting on July 22, 2019.
8-1-19 Shooting - 2100 block Ocoee Street
On August 1, 2019 at approximately 7:13 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to reports of a person shot in the 2100 block of Ocoee Street.
8-2-19 Optimist's Respect for Law Officer of the Year awarded to two CPD Officers
The Chattanooga Police Department and the Scenic Chattanooga Optimist Club are proud to announce that this year’s recipients of the “Respect for Law Officer of the Year Award” will be Chattanooga Police Department Sergeant Steve Wiertel and Officer Celtain Batterson. Sgt. Wiertel and Ofc. Batterson will be honored on Friday, August 2, 2019 at noon at the Chattanoogan Hotel.

On July 31, 2019 at 4:30 a.m. Chattanooga Police Officers were called to a residence in the 3700 block of Kellys Ferry Road for a Disorder with a Weapon call. The following are the preliminary details:
