9-6-19 CPD Sponsors Crime Prevention Training for Businesses
The Chattanooga Police Department is sponsoring free crime prevention training primarily designed for business stakeholders who are interested in making their facility and employees as safe as possible. A nationally accredited Crime Prevention Specialist from the University of Tennessee’s Law Enforcement Innovation Center will lead the course and a translator will be present for Hispanic/Latino business owners and employees.

8-30-19 Shooting - 3300 block Lightfoot Mill Road
On August 29, 2019 at approximately 6:25 p.m., Chattanooga Police were notified of a person who walked in to a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.
8-30-19 Shooting - 3200 block Montview Drive
On August 30, 2019 at approximately 12:03 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 3200 block of Montview Drive.

Update (8/28/19): On August 28, 2019 the Chattanooga Police Department was notified that Rachael Tucker (Driver 1) has succumbed to her injuries.
