Chattanooga Police work with a law enforcement agency in Alabama to locate a kidnapping victim from Chattanooga and arrest the person who abducted her.
5-31-17 Eleven Arrested in Prostitution Stings
Chattanooga Police Department's Narcotics and Vice officers conducted a street prostitution sting and reverse prostitution sting in the East Lake area on May 30 and 31, 2017. The two sting operations resulted in the arrest of eleven suspects, six women for Prostitution and five men for Patronizing Prostitution. Drug paraphernalia, a small amount of marijuana, and a stolen firearm were also seized during the operations.

A motorist dies after the motorcycle he was on crossed Bonny Oaks Drive into an oncoming vehicle.
5-27-17 Pedestrian Struck/Fatality - 5300 Hwy 153 South
A pedestrian crosses Highway 153 into oncoming traffic, is struck by a vehicle, and succumbs to his injuries on scene.
5-24-17 Suspicious Person/Package
The Chattanooga Police Department's EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Unit responded to a suspicious package call. After investigating the object, the EOD team along with ATF agents successfully disrupted an explosive device.
