7-14-17 Three suspects arrested for Attempted Murder
UPDATE 7/14/17:
Three suspects have been taken into custody for the attempted murder of Dequan Jamal Duke. All three suspects are gang members. All three were charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony and Reckless Endangerment.

7-12-17 Shooting Suspect Arrested - 2700 block Rossville Blvd
Mailik Phillips (male, 20) was taken into custody by CPD's Fugitive Unit with assistance from the United States Marshals Service and the Walker County Sheriff's Office on July 12, 2017. He is charged with Criminal Homicide and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony. Phillips will be booked into the Hamilton County Jail once extradited from Georgia.
