UPDATED: 3-22-17 Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested - 2201 E. 3rd St.
Robbery suspect Jakobi Johnson was arrested Wednesday, March 22, 2017 by Chattanooga Police. He's the primary suspect in a bank robbery that occurred at SunTrust Bank located at 2201 E. 3rd St. on March 15, 2017. Keisha Powell was also arrested for Harboring a Fugitive.
These arrests are the result of CPD Fugitive, Baker South Patrol, Robbery Units and the FBI identifying, capturing, and charging the suspect.
SUSPECTS & CHARGES:
Jakobi Johnson (male, 22), CHARGES: Robbery, Possession Of Firearm While Intoxicated (outstanding warrant), Criminal Impersonation (outstanding warrant)
Keisha Powell (female, 29), CHARGES: Accessory After The Fact
3-14-17 Homicide/Shooting - 2200 block Tunnel Blvd.
A man is found lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
UPDATED: 3-20-17 Wanted Persons - Reward
UPDATE (3/20/17): Another individual wanted in connection to involvement in violent crimes in Chattanooga is now in custody.
Orlando Watkins was apprehended in Rossville, Georgia on Monday, March 20, 2017. Investigative leads led officers to Watkins' whereabouts. He was wanted on warrants for Aggravated Assault and Evading. He will be facing additional charges as well. Watkins' capture was the culmination of a joint effort between Chattanooga Police Department, Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force, Rossville Police Department, and federal agencies.
Troy Timmis, another individual on the wanted poster, was apprehended in a warrant roundup on March 15.

The Chattanooga Police Department needs your help locating these individuals in connection to their involvement in violent crimes in our city. There is now a $500 reward for information leading to the capture of each suspect. CPD is asking anyone who may know the whereabouts of these individuals to contact the CPD Fugitive Unit at 423-643-5404. You can remain anonymous.

A man is shot while getting out of a vehicle. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
