9-28-18 Community Invited to National Night Out on Oct. 2, 2018
Everyone is invited to participate in this annual relationship building campaign to promote police-community camaraderie. Various locations around the city are hosting events. All are invited to join the fun, meet their neighbors & make new friends.
9-24-18 Shooting - 700 block Frazier Circle
On September 24, 2018 at approximately 10:27 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 700 block of Frazier Circle for a Shots Fired call. The following are the preliminary facts of the incident:
UPDATED: 9-24-18 Pedestrian Struck Hit & Run - 7356 Lee Hwy.
UPDATE (9/28/18):
The pedestrian involved in the fatal hit & run has been identified as Aquana Aneitra Kincy (37). Police were able to locate evidence on the scene of the suspect vehicle:
The possible suspect vehicle is a 2003-2011 Lincoln Town Car (Undetermined Color). The vehicle will likely have damage to the passenger side front fender, hood, and possibly windshield.Anyone with information should contact Investigator Cavitt with the Chattanooga Police Department.
9-24-18 Homicide/Shooting - 3100 block N. Chamberlain Ave.
On 09/24/2018 at approximately 10:23 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the area of North Chamberlain Avenue and Wilder Street on reports of shots fired.
UPDATE: ARREST/9-24-18 Traffic Crash/Fatality - 3210 Cummings Hwy.
UPDATE (10/10/18): Chattanooga Police file charges against the suspect in a fatal hit and run that occurred on September 24, 2018 at 7356 Lee Highway. The suspect, Korey L. Reeves (male, 49) is charged with Leaving the Scene Involving a Fatality, Failure to Render Aid, and Failure to Report an Accident.
