Ethics
The citizens of the City of Chattanooga have certain expectations of public servants and are entitled to a responsive, accountable, and ethical government. Chattanooga City Code Section 2-750, et seq. establishes the City’s Code of Ethics, which applies to all full-time and part-time City employees, whether compensated or not, including those of any separate board, commission, committee, authority, corporation, or other instrumentality appointed or created by the municipality. Additionally, Mayor Andy Berke issued Executive Order No. 2014-01 in which employees and members of City boards & commissions are directed to adhere to certain ethics policies and procedures.
