On 11/19/2018 at 10:00 a.m., Members of the Chattanooga Police Department's Gun Team responded to 2500 Market Street to locate Desmond McKevie who had warrants on file for a firearms related incident that happened over the weekend.

The Chattanooga Police Department is sponsoring free crime prevention training primarily designed for business owners and managers who are interested in making their facility and employees as safe as possible.
11-12-18 Second Phase of Public Safety Camera Installations Complete
(Chattanooga, TN) - The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) adds 14 new public safety cameras to its network, bringing the total to 29 cameras around the city focusing on violent crime and deterring future acts of violence. This system is known as “Crime Eye” by Convergint Technologies which is an industry leader in technology used in promoting crime reduction, crime solving, and improving community safety.
11-13-18 Robbery trend & safety reminder
UPDATE: The Chattanooga Police Department Robbery Unit has made two arrests in relation to three recent robbery incidents in the last week. These robberies involved people who were buying/selling items via online classified apps and websites. Jadarius Menifee and Demonta Pickett were arrested and charged in relation to the robberies.
