7-3-21 Shooting- Unknown Location
On July 3, 2021 at approximately 5:41 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 1600 block of Dodds Avenue on a report of a person shot. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:
7-13-21 UPDATE: Suspect Arrested / 7-2-21 Shooting- 7700 Lee Highway
UPDATE (7-13-21): The Chattanooga Police Department Homicide Unit has charged a suspect in the shooting that occurred on July 2, 2021 in the 7700 block of Lee Highway. Sean Tyler Griffith (34) is charged with Attempted First Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Dangerous Felony. Griffith is in custody at the Bradley County Jail awaiting transfer to the Silverdale Detention Center in Hamilton County.

6-30-21 Authority Figure Charged with Sexual Battery
Chattanooga Police make an arrest in a case involving sexual wrongdoing that includes a juvenile victim at a facility located at 1914 Vance Avenue. The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) received the complaint on May 21, 2021. The CPD Special Victims Unit (SVU) with assistance from other local and federal partners have been thoroughly investigating ever since.
