10-11-19 Seeking Community's Assistance - Locating Driver in Fatal Traffic Crash
On October 7, 2019, suspect, Douglas Gass, fled from Fort Oglethorpe Police Department in a vehicle pursuit and crashed. Gass left his passenger to die from injuries sustained in the crash. Due to the crash occurring within the city of Chattanooga and subsequent fatality, the Chattanooga Police Department’s Traffic Unit responded to take over the investigation. Warrants are on file for multiple charges, including Vehicular Homicide, through Chattanooga Police Department and Georgia law enforcement agencies.
