10-2-19 ARREST/9-28-19 Shooting - 3700 block Youngstown Rd.
On September 28, 2019 at approximately 9:39 p.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Youngstown Road on a Person Shot call. The following are the preliminary facts of the investigation:
- Upon arrival, Police located the victim suffering from injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
- Victim was transported to a local hospital via Hamilton County EMS.
- Victim stated to investigators that a man she was traveling with forced her out of the vehicle and shot her.
- Victim fled on foot and yelled for help.People in the area heard the victim's cries for help and called 9-1-1.
- Medical personnel determined the victim's injuries to be non-life-threatening.
- Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525 or submit a tip via the CPD Mobile App. You can remain anonymous.
