10-21-18 ARRESTS - Aggravated Assault & Auto Theft 2528 Broad St.
- Upon arrival, Chattanooga Police Officers located a party who stated his vehicle was stolen from the parking lot at 2528 Broad St.
- Party stated to police that he left his vehicle running with the keys in it when he entered the store
- The vehicle owner stated to police he witnessed a white female driving away in his vehicle and fired shots at the vehicle
- The stolen auto along with the female driving it were located later by East Ridge Police Officers at 6519 Ringgold Rd.
- After thorough review of evidence and interviews, investigators determined the parking lot was full of customers when the entire incident took place
- Investigators determined the vehicle owner was not in imminent danger and unnecessarily used deadly force to stop an Auto Theft
- Both parties were charged accordingly and transferred to the Hamilton County Jail
- Members of the Major Crimes Bureau are actively investigating this incident.

Denise Farmer (female, 35)
DOB: 5/25/83

Auto Theft
Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525 or submit an anonymous tip via the Chattanooga PD Mobile App. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
