On September 29, 2018 at approximately 3:46 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 1330 block of East Third Street for a Shots Fired call. The following are the preliminary facts of the incident:
- Upon arrival, Chattanooga Police Officers located a party suffering from multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds
- Victim was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS
- When Investigators arrived at the hospital they were notified another party was being treated by medical staff for a single, non-life-threatening gunshot wound
- Investigators interviewed that party who admitted to firing shots at the victim
- The suspect was transported to Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Unit
- Suspect is charged with Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, and Felony Reckless Endangerment
- Members of the Major Crimes Bureau are actively investigating this incident
