ORIGINAL RELEASE (7/30/18):
On July 30 at 7:55 a.m. Chattanooga Police responded to a body found at 4537 Norcross Rd. The following are the preliminary facts of that investigation:
- A passing motorist observed the victim on the side of the roadway and called police
- The victim was pronounced deceased by HCEMS on scene
- Investigators were able to determine that the victim most likely died due to a collision with a motor vehicle
- The suspect vehicle had left the scene prior to police arrival and is unknown at this time
- Members of the Traffic Division are actively investigating this crash. If you have any information about this incident, please call the Chattanooga Police.
