5-26-18 Pedestrian Struck - 5400 Hixson Pike
On May 26, 2018 at 10:05 p.m. the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a pedestrian struck at 5400 Hixson Pike.The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:
- Vehicle 1, (Ford F150) was traveling north on Hixson Pike in the fast lane
- The pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway and was struck by the vehicle
- The driver was unsure as to what had collided with the vehicle and stopped at the scene
- HCEMS responded and transported the pedestrian to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries
- Chattanooga Police Department Traffic Division are actively investigating this incident.

Francis Lamonica (male, 66)
Pedestrian:
Identification withheld until family notification has been made
