4-28-17 Three Arrested for Robbery - 3318 Mountain View Dr.
It was then that Pritchett, Green, and Johnson held three people in the home at gunpoint against their will and demanded money from them. Once the victims complied, the suspects fled the scene at a high rate of speed in a white Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Citizens in the area contacted dispatch with a description of the men and the vehicle after noticing suspicious activity around the home and the Jeep fleeing at a high rate of speed. The Jeep passed an officer on Cummings Highway who was en route to the scene. The officer notified other incoming units of the vehicle's whereabouts and a traffic stop was conducted at 1020 West 37th St.
"When we have community members who pay attention to their surroundings and aren't afraid to pick up the phone when they see something that appears odd or suspicious it can make the difference between criminals getting away or getting stopped," said Assistant Chief Edwin McPherson. "This was also great work from patrol officers. Their response and keen awareness were the key to apprehending these felons."
Pritchett, Green, and Johnson were found inside the vehicle along with a firearm in plain view. All three were questioned by a CPD robbery investigator and booked into the Hamilton County Jail. All are charged with Aggravated Robbery.
